On Tuesday, Needville Independent School District Superintendent Threatened to Suspend Any Student Who Disrupts School or Walks Out to Protest Current Gun Laws
HOUSTON – The Texas chapter of Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America, a part of Everytown for Gun Safety, today responded to a letter sent home to parents and posted on social media from Needville Independent School District Superintendent threatening to suspend any student for three days who “disrupts” school in protest of gun violence. Survivors of the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School shooting have called for nation-wide school walks outs in response to the gun violence that killed 17 and injured at least 14 of their peers.
