“This tragic shooting is yet another reminder that we must do more to stop gun violence in our communities,” said Jennifer Herrera, volunteer leader with the Virginia chapter of Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America. “Our hearts go out to the victims, their loved ones and all those affected by this senseless act of violence.”
“Yet another American community has been devastated by gun violence,” said Shannon Watts, founder of Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America. “We don’t have to live like this. Americans shouldn’t be shot at while sitting at their desks at work. While we mourn for those whose lives were taken and those whose lives were forever changed today, we must also demand action in their honor.”
