This weekend, more than 100 volunteers with the Colorado chapter of Moms Demand Action gathered virtually for a Weekend of Action to get out the vote for Democratic candidate for U.S. Senate John Hickenlooper and Democratic candidate for President Joe Biden. They reached out to thousands of voters across Colorado through call, text, and lit drops, helping voters make plans to vote and confirming their support for gun sense candidates up and down the ballot. Volunteers are available for interviews around the work they did this weekend and their broader plans to support gun sense candidates up and down the ballot through Election Day.
For additional photos and to speak with a volunteer with Moms Demand Action about the work they’re doing through Election Day, please don’t hesitate to reach out. Among those available for interviews:
- Maria Ogneva, a volunteer with the Colorado chapter of Moms Demand Action from the Denver area
- Julie Carr, a volunteer with the Colorado chapter of Moms Demand Action from the Colorado Springs area
- Emily Suyat, a volunteer with the Colorado chapter of Moms Demand Action from the Douglas County area
