NEW YORK — The New York chapter of Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America, part of Everytown for Gun Safety, today applauded New York Senate for the passage of S. 1414, legislation that would prohibit undetectable guns from being manufactured, possessed and sold across New York State.
“We’re thankful our lawmakers are focused on keeping undetectable guns off the streets of New York,” said Barry Graubart, a volunteer with the New York chapter of Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America. “These guns can be carried, unnoticed through metal detectors and other security devices, posing a threat to the most sensitive places across the state. This is a great step forward and we look forward to continuing to work with the Senate to address this gap in New York.”
