Ads Are In Addition To Previously-announced $1.7M Investment
NEW YORK — Today, Everytown for Gun Safety Victory Fund announced nearly $1.3 million in new TV and digital ads that criticize Karen Handel for siding with President Trump instead of protecting Georgians with pre-existing conditions. The TV ads will run on Atlanta broadcast stations through the election.

“Representative Lucy McBath has honored the memory of her son, Jordan, and all the victims and survivors of gun violence, by fighting to pass common-sense gun laws,” said John Feinblatt, head of Everytown Victory Fund. “That’s why Everytown is working tirelessly to help Representative McBath defeat Karen Handel, a Trump enabler with a long history of putting gun lobby interests ahead of public safety.”
This new investment is an addition to $1.7 million in TV and digital ads which ran last month, criticizing Handel for benefiting from more than $100,000 from the gun lobby, and voting to block common-sense gun safety laws such as background checks on all gun sales.
This year, Everytown for Gun Safety Victory Fund and Everytown for Gun Safety Action Fund will spend $60 million on the 2020 elections, doubling what they spent during the 2020 elections.
