STATEMENT FROM JENNIFER STAPLETON, VOLUNTEER, MARYLAND CHAPTER OF MOMS DEMAND ACTION FOR GUN SENSE IN AMERICA:
“My thoughts and prayers are with the victims of the disturbing shootings that have taken place in Montgomery and Prince George’s counties over the last 24 hours. These shootings once again remind us that as a state and as a nation, we need to do more to prevent such senseless violence in our communities. We know that 91 Americans die each and every day from gun violence. As we come together to heal, we must also come together to take action to keep Marylanders and Americans safe. Enough is enough.”
