NEW YORK — Today, Everytown for Gun Safety Action Fund announced its first major round of endorsements of candidates running for the U.S. Senate and House of Representatives for the 2024 election cycle. Everytown has already endorsed over 300 Moms Demand Action volunteers running for office up and down the ticket. A full list of endorsed candidates is below and represents members of Congress across 31 states.
“With MAGA extremists doubling down on their ‘guns everywhere’ agenda and promising to undo all the progress we’ve made on gun safety, the stakes of this election are truly life or death,” said John Feinblatt, president of Everytown for Gun Safety. “The freedom to be safe from gun violence is on the ballot this November, and we’re proud to endorse gun safety champions who will fight tooth and nail to keep their communities safe.”
“There’s so much at stake in this election, but there’s also incredible potential for our movement. To achieve that progress, we need a Congress that represents the majority of Americans who just want to live free from the constant threat of gun violence,” said Angela Ferrell-Zabala, executive director of Moms Demand Action. “That’s why we’re thrilled to endorse these congressional candidates, who we know will prioritize people over the profits of the gun industry. Our volunteers are energized and ready to get these folks elected, one voter at a time.”
