STATEMENT FROM BIANCA CAMERON-SCHWIESOW, VOLUNTEER LEADER WITH THE ALABAMA CHAPTER OF MOMS DEMAND ACTION
“I am utterly heartbroken that Alabama has experienced the first shooting death of a trans woman this year. It is completely unacceptable that senseless gun violence continues to traumatize our country’s most vulnerable communities. Now is the time for our lawmakers to stand up and do more to protect all Americans, and not just some.”
