140 Moms Demand Action Volunteers Called Nearly 13,000 Texas Voters This Weekend; Volunteers and Staff Available for Interviews

September 14, 2020

This weekend, 140 volunteers with the Texas chapter of Moms Demand Action gathered virtually for a Day of Action. They made nearly 13,000 calls to English and Spanish-speaking voters across Texas, helping them make plans to vote and confirming their support for gun sense candidates up and down the ballot. Volunteers and staff are available for interviews around the work they did this weekend and their broader plans to support gun sense candidates up and down the ballot through Election Day.

Notably:

  • 88% of voters Moms Demand Action volunteers spoke to committed to vote for gun sense candidates up and down the ballot in Texas
  • 79% of voters Moms Demand Action volunteers spoke to made detailed plans to vote while on the phone

If you’re interested in speaking with a volunteer with Moms Demand Action about the work they’re doing through Election Day, please don’t hesitate to reach out. Among those available for interviews:
