NEW YORK – Today Everytown for Gun Safety and Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America, a part of Everytown, released the following statement on the government spending bill, which includes the Fix NICS Act and report language noting that the Secretary of Health and Human Services has clarified that the Centers for Disease Control has authority to conduct research on the causes of gun violence.
