PHOTOS: More than 100 Moms Demand Action Volunteers Reach Out to Thousands of Minnesota Voters over the Weekend; Volunteers Available for Interviews

October 6, 2020

This weekend, more than 100 volunteers with the Minnesota chapter of Moms Demand Action gathered virtually for a Weekend of Action to flip the state Senate. They reached out to thousands of voters across Minnesota through calls, texts, and lit drops, helping them make plans to vote and confirming their support for gun sense candidates up and down the ballot. Volunteers are available for interviews around the work they did this weekend and their broader plans to support gun sense candidates up and down the ballot through Election Day.

For additional photos and to speak with a volunteer with Moms Demand Action about the work they’re doing through Election Day, please don’t hesitate to reach out. Among those available for interviews:

  • Sarah Mikesell, a volunteer with the Minnesota chapter of Moms Demand Action from the Duluth area
  • Jessica DeWeerth, a volunteer with the Minnesota chapter of Moms Demand Action from the Minneapolis area
  • Molly Leutz, a volunteer with the Minnesota chapter of Moms Demand Action from the Minneapolis area
