staples_gun_free1The national debate over gun control has landed on the doorstep of a Massachusetts-based company.

Members of the Massachusetts chapter of “Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America” brought a petition with 12,000 signatures on it to the Staples headquarters in Framingham Tuesday

They want the retailer to stop allowing people to carry guns in its stores across the country.

Molly Malloy, president of the Massachusetts chapter, joined us for more on the subject.

Malloy said that the group is a grassroots group advocating for an end to gun violence.
