Initial Reports Indicate Eight People Wounded, Three Critically, in a Shooting at an Apartment Complex

NEW YORK – The California chapter of Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America, a part of Everytown for Gun Safety, and Everytown today released the following statement in response to reports of a shooting at a San Bernardino apartment complex that wounded eight people, three critically, including at least one minor.

STATEMENT FROM WENDY WHEATCROFT, VOLUNTEER CHAPTER LEADER WITH THE CALIFORNIA CHAPTER OF MOMS DEMAND ACTION:

“I am heartbroken and angry that gun violence has struck San Bernardino this holiday weekend, leaving far too many families grappling with the aftermath of this shooting. My heart is with these families, and come November, my vote will be with candidates who stand on the side of gun safety.”
