“We Won’t Give Up” Rally

This event is a Rally entitled “We Won’t Give Up” where we will gather in a beautiful Park in downtown Tampa to show our determination for passing common sense gun laws. This will be a peaceful rally with signs and possibly a speaker or two.

The purpose of the rally is to unify and mobilize the community, gain media attention, increase our public exposure, and encourage citizens to take action by contacting their elected officials.

Free Screening of Living for 32

The NY-Hudson Valley chapter of Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America will be hosting a free movie screening of Living for 32, a film about the 32 murdered in the tragic Virginia Tech shooting six years ago, and the 32 people killed by guns everyday in America. The acclaimed documentary Living for 32 recounts the tragedy at Virginia Tech and survivor Colin Goddard’s inspiring journey to becoming a leading advocate for sensible gun reform.

The NY-Hudson Valley chapter of Moms Demand Action for Gun Sense in America will be hosting a free movie screening of Living for 32, a film about the 32 murdered in the tragic Virginia Tech shooting six years ago, and the 32 people killed by guns everyday in America. The acclaimed documentary Living for 32 recounts the tragedy at Virginia Tech and survivor Colin Goddard’s inspiring journey to becoming a leading advocate for sensible gun reform.

The screening will take place on Wednesday, June 12, 2013 at 7:00pm in the Community Room at the The Nyack Library, 59 South Broadway, Nyack, NY. A moderated discussion will follow the 45-minute film. The screening is free and open to the public. Seating is limited, reservations are recommended by emailing: nyhudson.gd@momsdemandaction.org.
